Watch our founder's Rebecca Fordham interview with Yinka Shonibare MBE for Brilliant Ideas, Bloomberg TV series. Famous for his use of Dutch wax cloth, the British Nigerian artist explores empire, globalisation, money, war and race through wit and exuberant colour.

Shonibare's works include Nelson's Ship in a Bottle' that shone on Trafalgar Square's Four Plinth before moving to its permanent home at Greenwich Naval Museum. His other public works can be seen around the world.
